Our PTA team embody and embrace the ethos of  ERDA, as part of the Philip Cutts Group, first hand from the experiences and training their dancers have received whilst being part of our community. Bringing families along with our training programmes, education, care and value of performing arts, is important to us all and this wonderful team help us to do this by being part of organising, communicating and promoting our events and opportunities throughout the year.

“My daughter has been part of Emily Redding Dance Academy for many years and throughout this time, dance has had a wonderful impact on her overall wellbeing. Emily has helped her to gain confidence in a safe and supportive environment enabling her to develop a strong sense of belonging. Physically, she’s more active and strong, and emotionally, she’s more resilient and happy. It’s been a truly positive and empowering experience for her.”

“ ERDA is a second home to my eldest daughter who has been dancing there for 8 years (since she was 3 years old) and my youngest can’t wait to join next term!

ERDA is a safe place for my daughter to be able to be herself and feel comfortable trying new things with a teaching team who she can trust to nurture and provide her with the skills and knowledge not just to dance but to believe in herself, build confidence, skills and experiences she can apply outside of dancing.

Team working, Leadership, Empathy and compassion, Responsibility, dedication and commitment – these are all skills she is continually learning and developing at ERDA all whilst doing something she loves!

There is something for everyone at ERDA or in my daughter’s case every type of dancing you could possibly want to try (and she does!) – from classical ballet and tap, to jazz, modern and musical theatre.

My daughter can struggle with her confidence but at ERDA she has been given the time and support to overcome this – performing every chance she gets at spotlight shows, showcases, festivals, and the bi-annual ERDA shows.

ERDA is not just a dance school, for my daughter it has been her happy place, a place where she goes and always feels welcome and supported, a place where she is continually learning and growing, building skills and life experiences that are invaluable to her for her future”

“My daughter, R, and I are new to the ERDA family. I am excited by the ethos, the vision, the passion that the ERDA team put into all that they do. R does a jazz class, a tap class and in September will be doing musical theatre also. ERDA gives R the freedom and the confidence to be herself, she recently stood on stage and read aloud, something she found uncomfortable, but with the gentle guidance of the team and her fellow artists, she did it! I felt so proud and I can’t wait to see where she will go and what she will do next.”
